Ideal Protein is not a high-protein diet, it is an "ideal" protein diet. It supplies you with the FDA recommended amount of protein per day. It is also low calorie (900 to 1200 calories per day), low fat and low carb. While on the protocol we temporarily take away carb-heavy foods such as fruit, dairy and breads/grains during phases 1 and 2 and then reintroduce them in a smart, healthy way in phase 3. The first 3 phases of the protocol include Ideal Protein products- 3 per day on Phase 1, 2 per day on Phase 2 and 1 per day on Phase 3. Phase 4 is simply maintaining your Ideal weight and you do not need to use Ideal Protein products on Phase 4.

New clients begin with a 1 hour initial consult which includes education, weight/body fat analysis and selecting their meals for their first week. Each day the clients will have 2 meals and 1 snack supplied by Ideal Protein and 1 meal which they buy and prepare themselves. Clients come in for 20-30 minute appointments every week for weight & measurement progress analysis, coaching and education and pick up the next week's worth of Ideal Protein products.
