Company Description

The goal of the Yakima Tribal Transit for the Yakama Reservation is to prepare a long-term transportation and transit plan that can be implemented, as well as compliment the community wide transportation plans that currently exists.? Thus far, there has been a tremendous amount of community involvement in the central valley communities of Wapato, Toppenish, Zillah, White Swan and other areas of the lower valley with many hours of dedication on the part of the Yakama Nation, People for People, Tribal Program, and Community Social Service Agencies.? This process and our community networking have provided the incentive for the Yakama Nation as well as afforded us the opportunity to apply for the current Department of Transportation Tribal Transit Program.
